Washington, DC – Washington, DC-based Association Management Strategies, Inc. (AMS) announced it has begun providing association management services for the Children’s Hospital Coalition (CHC), effective December 2022.
This first-in-kind coalition brings together some of the top children’s hospitals in the nation and Phlow™, an innovative essential medicines manufacturer, to raise awareness about the broken essential medicines supply chain for pediatric patients and to help provide a solution.
Together, coalition members seek to solve the persistent problem of shortages of essential medicines plaguing children’s hospitals across the U.S. The COVID-19 pandemic has further exposed vulnerabilities in the overall U.S. hospital supply chain, particularly regarding essential injectable medications. To address this issue, the CHC works to revolutionize the way essential medicines necessary to sustain life and conquer disease are brought to children in need and to fix the nation’s broken essential medicines supply chain.
The Children’s Hospital Coalition will be supported by an experienced team of association management professionals at AMS, who will provide administrative, finance and accounting services.
