Rheanna Smith joined AMS as a Senior Associate in November 2022 bringing several years of association management experience, marketing and communication experience, and nonprofit experience.
Prior to AMS, Rheanna provided freelance marketing, technical assistance and project management services to dozens of clients. She managed four membership associations at TEAM, Inc. and served as the Assistant Director of Meetings for the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society. Rheanna is on the advisory board for SKY Schools Milwaukee – a nonprofit that provides tools to students, parents and teachers on how to manage stress and emotions. She is also a volunteer Crisis Counselor with the Crisis Text Line.
Rheanna has her BA in Communication from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and her Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Walden University. She is also a certified health and life coach. Rheanna lives in Milwaukee with her husband, son, and English Mastiff, where she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends or time indoors with a book and peppermint tea.
