Jennifer Polo-Sherk joined the Association Management Strategies (AMS) family in 2015, bringing experience in project management, events management, and communications. She has managed the development of several new projects to implement better internal and external processes, to improve user-experience with online applications, and to revitalize marketing strategies for clients in the health, pharmaceutical, and auto industries.
Prior to AMS, Jennifer worked with various arts organizations in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles, including organizations serving minority communities. She handled projects both in the non-profit and corporate world. Right before joining AMS, she worked as a special projects manager, overseeing the planning and implementation the LATINA Style 50 Report; an annual report published by LATINA Style that evaluates and ranks the top 50 corporations for Latinas to work for in the nation. Innovation and creativity are central to her work.
Outside the office, you can catch Jennifer dancing like no one is watching (hip-hop, salsa, bachata and merengue are her FAVORITE), doing mermaid things with her daughter (they were mermaids in their previous lives), enjoying all forms of art, and making memories with her family.
