Jenell Chavis uses her years of communications experience to support several AMS clients. She is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi where she obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Health degree respectively. After graduation. Jenell worked as an Analyst for a joint standing committee of the Mississippi Legislature. After her move to Washington, D.C., Jenell found an interest in content, communications, and social media.
Prior to joining the AMS team, Jenell worked as the Content and Communications Coordinator for African American Ministries (faith-based non-profit organization). She also served as the Director of Development and Communications Coordinator (contract) for the PEARSON Foundation.
Jenell is based in D.C. and, in her spare time, enjoys spending time with her husband and children, going to group fitness classes, and being an active member in a community organization for moms of color.
