Washington, DC – Washington, DC-based AMS significantly increases its investment in its workforce with the addition of five new staff and the promotion of three staff. The personnel changes are a result of significant growth in AMS and its response to client needs.

Anne Vogel-Marr comes to AMS as Vice President and has assumed the role of Executive Director of Pharmaceutical Product Stewardship Work Group (PPSWG). She will manage the board of directors, staff and day-to-day operations of the association. She has over 35 years of leadership and technical experience advising the healthcare, non-profit, power generation, waste management and manufacturing sectors. Anne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Dickinson College, and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University.
Linda Holmsten joined AMS as an Account Executive. Currently, Linda is serving as the Director of Events for the Energy Storage Association and Gridwise. Linda holds a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and has nearly two decades of experience in executing association, corporate, federal government, military and 8a events. Linda is experienced in venue selection, contract negotiation, resource administration, project management, logistics, exhibit shows and meeting management. Linda is a current member of the American Society for Association Executives (ASAE) and holds a Certification in Management (CM).
Also joining the AMS team: Nisha Thakker, Senior Associate; Caoimhe Kenny, Associate; and Daniela Farinas, Associate.
The following staff were recently promoted: Bryan Nicholson to Senior Account Executive, Erin Murphy to Senior Account Executive, and Jennifer Polo-Sherk to Senior Associate. “We pride ourselves on having a culture that promotes from within,” said John Flatley, “I am thrilled that we are able to recognize the dedication to excellence that these individuals have to our clients, and that they will continue to grow their careers with AMS.”
