AMS Client Satisfaction Survey – 2020 Results

Every year AMS conducts a client satisfaction survey, giving clients the opportunity to rate our AMC on a variety of service areas and provide feedback on their overall experience with us. The results from this survey help us to assess our strengths and identify any areas for improvement.

We are pleased to report that AMS’s client partners have once again ranked our association management services at the highest levels, across categories such as Association Management, Executive Management, Finance, Membership and Program services.

For example, 100% of respondents said they “very satisfied” with the overall responsiveness and effectiveness of the AMS team,  100% said they “very satisfied” with AMS’s preparation for and participation in board meetings, and 90% said they were “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with AMS’s development and execution of new ideas.

And for the second year running, 100% of survey respondents said they would refer AMS to another organization in need of management services.

A note on how the survey is conducted: each July, AMS’s primary contact for each client is invited to respond to the survey. The survey responses are anonymous, giving clients the opportunity to provide open and honest feedback. The 2020 survey had an excellent survey response rate of 73%, which is significantly higher than the industry average.

We believe that the overwhelmingly positive results from this survey demonstrate the high standards characteristic of an AMCI accredited institution. AMS is among only 13% of association management companies accredited by the AMC Institute, thanks to our focus on continual improvement and emphasis on staff development.
