Bryan Nicholson has supported numerous trade associations and coalitions since joining Association Management Strategies (AMS) in 2010. In this time, Bryan has led a wide range of activities on behalf of his clients.
Bryan serves as the Executive Director of the Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA), a diverse group of stakeholders that promotes the development, integrity and reputation of the life settlement industry and advocates for a competitive marketplace for life settlement market participants.
Bryan also serves as the Executive Director of the Sorptive Minerals Institute (SMI), a national trade association representing the producers and marketers of products made from absorbent clay minerals.
Bryan also serves as the Executive Director of the Lone Star Energy Storage Alliance (LESA). LESA is a is a coalition of stand-alone energy storage companies striving to protect and grow the Texas stationary energy storage market by representing the energy storage industry on policy questions from state legislators, the Governor’s office, and regulators.
Bryan is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
Prior to joining AMS, Bryan served in various management roles with Amazon.com, Avon Products, Inc. and United Parcel Service (UPS). Bryan has an M.A. in International Affairs from the Milano School of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy at the New School for Public Engagement in Manhattan and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
Bryan resides in Paoli, PA with his family.
