Ama Akuffo joined AMS as a Senior Associate in January 2022. She currently provides finance support for the Pharmaceutical Product Stewardship Work Group (PPSWG).
Ama had over a decade of experience working in various healthcare/health plan roles prior to joining AMS. She holds experience in roles such as revenue cycle management, compliance, pharmacy, and member services.
She received a B.S. in Marketing from Western Governors University and is currently a Harvard Business School CORe Credential of Readiness certificate holder with concentration in Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting
In Ama’s spare time, she has a creative passion for writing historical fiction.
