Anne Vogel-Marr is a Senior Account Executive with Association Management Strategies, Inc. (AMS). Anne has over 35 years of leadership and technical experience advising the healthcare, non-profit, power generation, waste management and manufacturing sectors. Anne has managed several national trade associations, serving as Executive Director of the Stewardship Action Council (SAC) from 2010-2016, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving social and environmental performance of its members. Members included representatives from the academic, state government, non-governmental, investment, industrial and services sectors. By creating a platform where broad and diverse groups could share their ideas, SAC provided an active organization dedicated to: sharing lessons learned; forming new partnerships to address pressing social and environmental challenges; encouraging and recognizing performance improvements at the facility level; and the creation of a corporate level tool to both guide and measure sustainable performance across organizations.
Prior to SAC, Anne served as a Board Member, Chair and Executive Director of the Performance Track Participants Association (2001-2009), representing over 250 facilities participating in U.S. EPA’s National Environmental Performance Track Program. As Executive Director, she was responsible for all day-to-day activities of the organization, and served as the lead representative for PTPA member organizations with U.S. EPA on all aspects of the Performance Track program.
During her career, Anne has advised multiple corporations in the areas of corporate social responsibility, reporting, and EMS program development. She has held positions with StepLightly, LLC, National Energy & Gas Transmission, Inc., and Dames & Moore. Anne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Dickinson College, and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University.
